Oh Barkley…just look at that face! Do you just want to get pummeled by kisses from this guy? Of course you do! He has a vibrant personality wrapped in a thick coating of sweetness. And he certainly made me laugh more than a hundred times.
He is super curious and LOVES to play in his beautiful New Orleans courtyard where there are delightful smells of flowers and all sorts of things to investigate. He’s always looking for the next big adventure.
His whirlwind of play and energy is replenished by adorable 30 second naps where he splays out into butterflied pork chops.
These naps, however, are always interrupted by the sinking filling that there’s something to fetch, chase and investigate. He LOVES showering you with the treasures he collects, which of course you are supposed to throw immediately.
He has such a proud and confident air about him. As his Mom says, “no fear”- hee hee! He bounces right into a good time and insists you come along for the ride.
He was fantastically entertaining and has cutest little dog tush, right? ha ha!! 
Barkley was the bomb and makes me want to spend WAY more time in New Orleans. Thank you, Barkley for showing me how it’s done in NOLA.
